“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.”

- Rabindranath Tagore

SERVICE

Jaradoa is committed to community service because:
• We feel there is a need for compassionate action.
• We think that theater artists possess a unique capacity to address this need.
• We know that art is powerful and storytelling is healing.

Jaradoa is equally committed to productions and outreach. We intend for the lines between the two to always be blurred, with our service and performance sides continually informing one another.

Our current programs are:
• Theater & Literacy
• Jaradoa Radio Theater
• Jaradoa Jumpstart

Other Programs
Jaradoa leads workshops with teenagers in an alternative-to-incarceration center, and we are developing programming for youth in prison, women recovering from sex trafficking, and veterans and military families.

We are thrilled to offer tickets to our shows at no cost to the groups we serve.

To come volunteer with us, check out our calendar and kick us an email at info@jaradoatheater.org.
